Laser welding
Our company offers high production capacity with a robotized cell which focuses on laser welding with a high power fibre laser with optical guidance to the point of welding.
Technical parameters
- Welding thickness from 0.5 mm to 8mm
- Welding a wide range of materials
- Generator power of 4000 W
- Pulse welding mode
- Continual welding mode
- Welding with additional material
-
Welding in a protective atmosphere
Laser welding advantages
- The laser weld is narrow with an excellent depth-to-width ratio and higher strength
- The heat affected zone is limited, and due to rapid cooling, the surrounding material is not annealed
- Lasers successfully weld carbon steel, high strength steel, stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, and precious metals as well as dissimilar materials and their combination
- The welding parts have minimal deformity or shrinkage
- No physical contact between the material and the laser head
- Laser welding can replace spot welding requiring access from one side only
- Laser welding is controllable and generates low volumes of scrap
